Royal Roads Military College (RRMC) was a Canadian military college (1940 to 1995) located in Hatley Park, Colwood, British Columbia near Victoria, British Columbia, Canada (Wikipedia).
In 1995, Royal Roads Military College at Hatley Park National Historic Site on the Esquimalt Lagoon, was decommissioned and the government of British Columbia created Royal Roads University as a public university with an applied and professional degree-granting focus. Royal Roads University maintains strong ties with the Canadian Forces[3] and considers alumni of RRMC as part of its broader alumni community. Royal Roads University has now graduated over 20,000 students in the fields of leadership, business, environment, communication and social justice who are working in over 60 countries around the world (Wikipedia).

I began photography with a Brownie camera my parents gave me as a child sometime in the 1950s. In the 1970s I finally graduated to an SLR and actually won a few contests, then took a hiatus through the 1990s but picked up digital photography in earnest in the mid-2000s. Now, many years later, it still excites me to venture out and try to find what the world is all about in my own way through this wonderful medium.
